Day 5 July 20, 2011

Today we climbed the Great Sand Dunes you can do what every you want on them...jump, run, dig, slide etc.


We were not planing on climbing to the top but we made it. We kept telling each other just one more hill, let just do one more hill. Until we(dad, Elizabeth, Matthew and I) made it to the top.

Then we drove a few miles down the highway to a 4.5 mile dirt road up the mountains to a .5 mile trail that lead to a mountain spring which was very refreshing to wade in.

Then we drove on to camp. Matthew chopped the fire wood and made us a campfire and we got to have S'mores.
